EIT's for Construction Project Coordinator Positions (3032)

CPM is looking for experienced and detail-oriented EIT Construction Project Coordinator with a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electric Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing various aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Candidate MUST HAVE EIT Certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers, fostering strong working relationships and ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Monitor project progress and performance against established goals and objectives, proactively identifying and addressing any deviations or challenges that may arise.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is being performed according to project specifications and quality standards, and address any safety or compliance issues promptly.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and project reports, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment, negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers to optimize project costs and timelines.

Qualifications:

  • MUST HAVE EIT CERTIFICATION
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electric Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project coordination or management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, with a focus on civil engineering projects.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
