 Procurement Representative

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement processes and ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services, agreeing prices/terms, negotiation of delivery dates/schedules and communication with vendors.

Duties:
-Implement procurement plans.
-Analyze quotations and prepare commercial bid analysis with vendor recommendations to client.
-Negotiate and achieve cost reductions and savings with suppliers/contractors.
- Oversee procurement activities from sourcing to delivery
- Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Implement procurement strategies to enhance cost-effectiveness
- Conduct contract negotiations and resolve vendor disputes

Experience:
- Proven experience in procurement activities
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles
- Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers
- Experience in contract negotiation and vendor management
- Proficiency in logistics and fabricate processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


 Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze procurement data and generate reports.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Resource must have an analytic capability in order to prioritize job requests.
  • High level of IT skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Previous SAP/Ariba experience - preferred
  • Previous experience working on large Capital projects is an advantage.
  • Must have excellent people skills.
  • Dynamic personality
  • Detail oriented.
  • Must be able to work under minimal supervision and achieve results.
  • Fast learner, responsible
  • Bilingual
The Ideal Candidate must have:
  • 2+ years of Experience
  • Bachelor in Finance
  • Must be already residing in Puerto Rico
  • Reliable and motivated individual
  • Organized and detailed oriented
  • Excellent communications skills, bilingual
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
