Electromechanical Construction Project Engineer (3120)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Mechanical Construction Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects while ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination and management of  construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Support the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
  • Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure understanding of requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and report on key milestones and potential delays.
  • Communicate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolve issues.
  • Assist in the preparation of change orders, purchase orders, and other project documentation.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor work progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain organized project files, records, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate potential risks.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in construction project coordination.

Skills

  • Basic knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project) and construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, or similar).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Certifications (Preferred but not Required)

  • OSHA 10 or 30-hour Construction Safety Certification.
