We are looking for a proactive and experienced EHS Manager to lead and manage all aspects of environmental, health, and safety compliance across our operations. The EHS Manager plays a critical role in developing safety culture, minimizing risk, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who is passionate about workplace safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement in health and safety systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations.
Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments, and investigations to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Lead incident investigations and develop root cause analyses and preventative measures.
Coordinate safety training programs for employees, contractors, and supervisors.
Maintain environmental compliance records (e.g., stormwater, hazardous waste, air permits).
Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies and manage reporting and permitting activities.
Track and analyze safety metrics, prepare reports, and drive performance improvements.
Foster a culture of safety and environmental awareness across all levels of the organization.
Stay current with changes in EHS regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5–7 years of progressive EHS experience in industrial, construction, or manufacturing environments.
Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other regulatory requirements.
Professional certifications such as CSP, CHMM, CIH, or equivalent are a plus.
Experience with EHS software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong leadership, communication, and training skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
